Norm is a former litigation attorney and judge from Illinois, who also organized and presented a number of rather large science fiction conventions in conjunction with the BBC for their Doctor Who television series, which was featured on a nationally televised segment of the Entertainment Tonight TV show, and who then went on to co-produce ten stage plays including one that ran upon London's famed West End for six months, and a world premiere of an A. R. Gurney play starring George Segal and Betty Buckley in Chicago.
Norm currently resides in the sunny Sonoran Desert near Phoenix, AZ with his Golden Retriever, Sunny. He is an Active Member of the Horror Writer's Association (HWA), and is also a member of the International Thriller Writer's, Inc (ITW).
Norm has authored over one hundred published Horror & Thriller Genre book reviews. Norm has written a regular column for Fear Zone "Macabre Musings," and also served a stretch as the reviewer for the Pod Of Horror podcast hosted by author and professional radio host, Mark Justice. Norm is a regular reviewer for Horror World, a regular columnist for Shroud Magazine, and also, is a, reviewer for Cemetery Dance Magazine and now Dark Scribe Magazine.
Norm has had extensive experience working freelance as both a copy editor and Associate Editor for a number of Specialty Presses, including Bloodletting Press and Cargo Cult Press, and is currently an Associate Editor for the Black Voltage Series at Thunderstorm Books and is the Editor for Dark Regions Press. Norm is pleased to announce his first hardcover appearance as an author-contributor in the forthcoming Thrillers: 100 Must Reads coming from Oceanview Press in July, 2010. Norm is also currently working on two screenplay adaptations of horror novels as well as writing short fiction.
